Prospective Clinicians
Currently seeking PT PTA OT COTA SLP
Aptiva Therapy, formerly known as A Plus Plus Therapy, was founded by therapists as a patient focused culture where therapeutic success comes first and foremost. We are dedicated to experienced clinicians providing the highest quality care. We seek clinicians that like to give their best, and that are committed to quality therapy that helps patients achieve the best possible rehabilitative outcomes.
If that sounds like you, we would welcome the opportunity to consider you for our team. Whether you are seeking to supplement your income or to make independent clinical care your primary source of income, we are interested in working with you.
Most of our clinicians bring many years of experience. All of our clinical professionals have demonstrated excellence and a deep commitment to helping their patients achieve the best possible outcomes. Many of our clinicians have broad expertise in their discipline as well as areas of deeper specialization. If you are a relatively new clinician, we do have a limited number of positions for new graduates and offer a mentorship program to help those new to the field develop real expertise.
Being an independent clinician is not for everyone as it requires a high degree of organization and commitment. It often requires extensive coordination and communication, plenty of automobile travel and self-disciplined record keeping. In additional to professional licenses for the appropriate state, it is important to have a reliable automobile, auto insurance, a clean driving record, CPR certification, and a number of other credentials.

FAQ
What type of compensation can I expect?
Your compensation varies as a function of the number of visits you make, the type of visit and the per visit rate. Payment per visit rates vary based on factors such as your experience, the type of reimbursement, quality of notes and willingness to travel. Some assignments earn special premiums. If you want to learn more specifics, please contact us to have a discussion about your skills and experience so we can give you more specific information. Our number is (773) 944-1532. Please call to learn more!
Do I have to go anywhere you ask me to go?
No, an independent therapist may choose not to take a patient they are offered. That said, the more open you are to patients, the more often you will be asked and the more opportunities you will have. Therapists that severely limit their geographic area, timing or type of patients naturally receive fewer opportunities. You can control your volume of work by the opportunities you accept.
